Work Schedule:
- Primarily daylight hours, Monday through Friday!
- Occasional evening and weekend hours to meet with and support staff that work off-hours.

The Manager of Diagnostic Radiology ensures the efficient workflow of the department by supervising staff and directing day-to-day operations for the division.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day operations, staffing, supply inventories, match division needs with personnel skills, coordinate quality control activities, and accept responsibility for the resolution of problems that arise.
- Establish and maintain an atmosphere of caring and support for patients, visitors, medical staff, and co-workers.
- Perform hiring, dismissal, employee reviews, and training programs.
- Manage difficult or emotional customer situations and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
- Prioritize and organize multiple duties in a constantly changing environment.
- Look continually for opportunities to improve processes and systems.
- Perform monthly staff meetings and update staff on process changes, hospital changes, and departmental changes.
- Work closely with Radiology Managers, Supervisors, and Directors to develop a team atmosphere.
- Accountable for all financial, operations, volume, and quality for the department.
- Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound technology.
- 3 years of experience as a Technologist is required.
- 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
- Attendance and participation in continuing education programs required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- ARRT Certificate
- Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearances with renewals
